Senior Design - MEEG 401

Senior Design is the 6-credit capstone design course structured to imitate the scenario a young engineer will experience in a design team in industry. First, design teams select a project, discover customer's wants, benchmark the best practices for each desired function, generate design concepts and select the best concept. Then, teams build a prototype, test it, and improve their designs. The course provides a realistic industrial management structure and professional background for the design project activities.

Perfectly pitched - Horn Program in Entrepreneurship announces winner of first video competition

Austin Crouse, a University of Delaware mechanical engineering major, took home the top prize of $1,000 in the Horn Program in Entrepreneurship's first entrepreneurial video pitch competition, "Perfect Pitch," with his video for Rapid Print, a 3D part and component printing business.
