Facilities

The Nanomaterials Research Laboratory houses core facilities for processing of thermoplastic- and thermoset-based nanocomposites. Unique facilities have been also established for characterization of nanocomposite multifunctional properties. The laboratory was established with initial funding from an AFSOR-supported DURIP program (FA9550-04-1-0337; Dr. Byung-Lip Lee, Program Director).
