Your engineering design team was told to begin designing a mechanical water-balloon launcher that can safely be enjoyed by third graders. Our team's goal is to toss a softball-sized water balloon to another child that is 20 meters away. This launcher must be able to consistently launch the balloon 20 meters. Cost, safety, and ease of assembly are some other factors that should be considered in the designing of our machine. All of these factors must be considered and applied to design and build a successful water-balloon launcher.
