The College of Engineering and the College of Business and Economics offer a joint program leading to a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering majors followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. By careful planning, students can complete the requirements of both degrees in five years. During the junior year, the student applies for admission to the joint program and takes the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). From the senior year onward, the student is appointed an additional faculty advisor from the MBA Program.
Mechanical Engineering students interested in this program should meet with the Assistant Dean before March of their sophomore year to discuss the details of the curriculum and to obtain more specific information about the MBA admission requirements.
